Harrold-Odell Country Park (Sat. 22/03/14)

This walk is a 5.5 miles circular route: from the Old Watermill at Odell,  a gentle walk to the high ground in the bends of the River Great Ouse (with great views when walking the ridge, it’s said you can see five church spires).

then along by a sunken road to Freer’s Wood and a historic paddock, back down to the river along the causeway to an ancient bridge over the River Great Ouse and on to the Country Park (where you will find many wood carvings), through a meadow along the river and back to Odell.

Gear: Appropriate clothes and footwear for a gentle country walk. Always carry some water with you.
Other information:  Drivers Wanted. If you have a car and are willing to drive please let us know in the email. You will be reimbursed.
