Posted on Updated on

A walk led by Paul Boatfield.

The walk will start from Woburn, Park Street, car park, which is opposite St Mary’s Church,
Its 6 1/2 mile (10.5 km) circular walk with just the usual up and downs steps and styles

We will mainly be going through The Private Woburn Estate, parklands and lakes, the home of 9 species of deer. (Paul saw 5 herds when surveying the route last week), there are many fine trees and views. The  break will be just over halfway round at the traditional village cricket ground of Evershot.

Bring a drink and snack for the break, wear appropriate footwear and clothing for a winter’s walk in the country

Meet by the Natwest bank, Cranfield Campus 1:30 pm

Due to demand the walk will cost £2, there is transport involved so let us know if you are going by emailing walking@cranfield.ac.uk by Friday 12th April @1:30
