Olney to Weston Underwood, Sunday 7th April

Posted on Updated on

Meet at NatWest bank at 10:30.
The walk will begin in the picturesque village of Olney, with a chance to browse the local farmers market which sells local produce once a month, including fresh meat, fruit, veg, cakes, sweets and other delights.

Continuing on, a short walk out of Olney Village reveals an array of rolling landscapes, and a disused railway line before continuing towards Weston Underwood, a beautiful little village. On the way take the chance to visit the alcove, a peaceful spot with fabulous views of Olney, and where poet William Cowper is rumored to have written many of his poems. Finally, a short walk back to Olney where you may wish to stop for a quick coffee in Beans coffee shop , recommended by our own Sarah Bergin.

Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for a country walk. Weather may be changeable so please being a waterproof just in-case. Walk is approximately 10km

Sign up in the CSA office by Friday 5th April @ 13:00 to book your place. The cost will be £2 in order to cover transport costs. Transport is involved so you need to book in advance.
