Sunday 9 September: exclusive tour of Chicheley Hall

Walk itinerary:       
Meet in front of Cafe Bookshop,                                                                                                 Depart at 13.00 hours                                                                                                                     Return back circa 19.00 hours                                                                                                           Total walk length: circa 12 km (7.5 miles)                                                                                     Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for a walk on country footpaths.
There are some stiles to climb over. Bring a drink – water with you.                                                 Cost  £7 per person (price subsidised by the Walking Society)                                                Number of places are limited, book your place with Glenda at CSA 1st floor by Monday 3 September at 13 hours.

 Experience  a true Jane Austin moment as you walk from Cranfield University via North Crawley to the beautifully restored Chicheley Hall, now owned by The Royal Society.  An exclusive guided tour by Sir Peter Knight, followed by traditional afternoon tea. A possible stop at the Cock pub in North Crawley on the way back. A very special event not to be missed!
